Disaster struck and my laptops motherboard sizzled leaving me with nothing but the hard drive. I recovered everything but I lost my firefox Bookmarks, does anyone know where they are kept in in the firefox folder.
I have turned my old hard drive into an external USB drive and conected to my new Laptop so that all my old files are accessable.

Look for any .JSON file extensions. :)
What i do is periodically backup my bookmarks, and email my html, and JSON file to myself at hotmail. ;)
This way if FF ever blows up i have all my bookmarks saved.

To access your Fire Fox info in the future do this

At the top of the Firefox window On the menu bar, click on the Help menu and select Troubleshooting Information.... The Troubleshooting Information tab will open.
Under the Application Basics section, click on Open Containing Folder. A window with your profile files folder will open. Double click bookmarks folder to access bookmarks.

It's best to back them up regularly or use Xmarks and store them online. That's what I do. It keeps all of my computers are synced.

Yeah. I think it's still in beta. I'll stick with 3.x for now. :)
