Benny Goodman was more then one of my inspirations when I first started playing the clarinet. Never pushed myself to master it (you all know how lazy I am; lol), but I did alright. Still, everytime I listen to him sing with his clarinet, it just amazes me. His prowess with it even in 1980 (which this video was recorded) is fantastic imo. Just wanted to share this one which I got as an email link earlier.

Thanks for that Lyle - I adore the sound of the clarinet. Before I learnt to play guitar and keyboards I was a flautist and can now play most wind instruments. I've never tried reeds though.
