I have always thought of April as the worse Month. I know April showers bring May flowers but it can also be the dreariest month of the year. I think it is because we so look forward to spring that freezing rain can be depressing

If only the sun would come out, then your yard would be all sparkly! We are just having rain and fog here by Lake Erie. We set up the pump from the creek to our pond, as it was low, and we have to use this opportunity to fill it. Boy, what a muddy messy job it is, lol

I sure hope we do not get another frost like last year that killed the Michigan apple crops.

@molly: All I can say is I am glad I don't live where you do! Brrrrr!
The temperature never drops below freezing where I live, rarely do we even see small hail in the depths of winter and as for snow meh! I was 23 and had to travel to Europe to see my first ever snowfall and have a chance to build a snowman, make snow angels and have my first ever snowball fight. :)

thank your lucky stars, Fluffy. I hate the cold. We just got back from England and Ireland, and I nearly froze my butt off over there. It was just as cold as it is over here, lol.

I guess it doesn't matter where you go, the weather isn't perfect all the time. We always remember the coldest, wettest and the hottest weather.

lol, this is true, Molly! I will always remember how cold it was and how we kept ducking into pubs to warm up. Actually, it was fun because we got to chat up so many different people that way.
