Sad news indeed Molly. When I was in basic, our drill sergeant made us hold up coat hangers (straight armed) and lean against the wall for the entire song of Purple Rain. lol

So long and God speed to your new destination. You will be missed, Prince.

Below's my humble tribute.

I still can't wrap my head around around it. Last I heard about Prince was that he was doing a concert, then after the concert, he had to go to the hospital, but was released the next day. My mind is still blown. RIP Prince

Back in the 1980's my brother begged me to drive him to Prince's Purple Rain Concert at the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, NY. My brother even offered to pay for my ticket, my response, I'm not interested - don't like him. Long story short, I drove my brother and gritting my teeth attended as well.

The curtain slowly was drawn up, the audience went nuts - he wasn't even on stage yet. I was soon just as mesmerized by the amazing talent, performer; I stood on my chair for 3 hours; it was electric. I fell in love, so much so that a few weeks later when the tour's next stop was Madison Square Garden - I was there.

To quote him in one of his songs: "Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today 2 get through this thing called life..."

Never heard a single song of his (knowingly) but I'm still kinda shocked. He seemed like a very electric person that could never die. RIP.

Yes, it's true. Price was worth $300 million and he didn't leave a will. His brothers and sisters will have to split the estate amongst themselves, according to the MN state law. Prince had 1 full blooded sister (Tyka.. she filed the estate papers) and five half siblings.

I don't think the five step siblings are entitled to anything unless they are named in a will according to what they said in the news.
