Got this one in an email an felt it was some fantastic choreography and flawless hidden string work for sure. Check out the magnetically levitating bells (well assume they are hanging this way) too. :)

That was delightful. Don't know how they got them all to sit on nothing but really great job.

Notice that their left foot never leaves the ground and never moves when they stand up. They have some sort of metallic/strong plastic chassis up their left leg that is locked in some hole in the stage floor. At the end, they remain upright without moving for a while, likely to allow the people under the stage to check that they all have been properly released.

This is an old trick:

That explains the chairs, any thoughts about the bells?

I would say some plastic cylinder (might even be plastic foil), visible here:

At the beginning, a large cloth is draped over the bells and then pulled through. My guess would be electromagnets with a somewhat sophisticated servo-control system.

At first it looked like they were dalek worshippers.

Well, it is already draped over the bells (so any kind of installation magic can have happened), and it is completely horizontal between the bells, without any wrinkles (or any horizontal folds created by a strong horizontal tension), so it is not resting on the bell "handles" but on something that spans the whole width of the bell rack. I suspect something like this:

(I made the drawing symmetrical, but nothing says the rear-facing side isn't even more open)

The top of some of the bell handles doesn't look too horizontal either, and that would likely make the servo system malfunction.
