Had a storm roll through about 5:30ish this morning. Power was out, no biggie. Around 9, I took a rather large branch that was in the front yard to the back, to discover that the wire going from the pole to the house was down. Power was just now restored. I was telling the electric guy that I couldn't GIMP while the power was out. He had no idea what I was talking about, haha.

yeah we had that storm pass just to the south of us last night here in Metro Detroit! I couldn't fall asleep until like 1:30am because the lightning kept lighting up my room! Glad to hear you're alright. You guys got the worst of it I think. It missed us almost completely.

Thanks. We've been getting nailed pretty bad this year. No tornadoes, just high winds with the storms. Only had the tornado sirens go off one night thus far. Hopefully that'll be it.
