Yanno Lyle this is happening all over. They have adoption drives all over the place wanting to place unwanted pets into homes but then what, as soon as the pet gets sick, the greedy vets charge an arm and a leg to people that can't afford it and they also try to force them to get unwanted tests done for their greedy pockets.
Someone should start a petition on vet costs.
We just paid $600 to have one tooth that was already to fall out on its own then they wanted to do blood work which would have been another $300. It is a racket.

Paid more than that for my boy's tooth to be pulled since they wanted to do an MRI because he had a heart murmur (like all his life; I didn't do anything to treat it). Guess what; they said he didn't need to take medicine for it. lol

Oh well; they finally got me to do the MRI anyway.
