Wishing you the best with your search. I hope too, you get an even better place. I would take in an other person here but I think Adelaide is a bit far too unfortunately :(

Thank you sallyanne,
I appreciate the gesture.

Thanks sallyanne for asking.

I've looked at about 5 places,
sent messages to people on "roommate" websites,
submitted applications to apartment complexes and made quite a few phone calls.
Still haven't found anything worth moving into,
nor that I would want to live in for any length of time.

It surprises me what some people deem a home.
I may need to lower my standards,
but I really don't want to.

So my search continues.

Update

I found a place and it's only just down the street,
about 4 minutes away from where I now live.
I'm set to move in on the 1st of Oct 2018.

Thank you.Trandoductin.
Even so,
I tend to worry much about things I have no control over.
My mind is still racing,
with the thought of having to relocate.

I guess there's really no way,
for one to be totally prepare for such circumstance,
except to take them as they come and make the best out of the situation.

What's done is done and it's time to be moving on.

Just compare it to a situation where you couldn't find a place and you have to be out by that date...way more worries then.

That is very good news - I'm happy for you :jumpclap

But what is 'home' is an intangible concept ... sometimes it is where you are and other times it is where you want to be!

Thanks OMG.

To me.
A home doesn't necessarily have to be an apartment,
house, or room.
A home is any place where you're comfortable,
and feel as if you can be yourself.

A home is a place,
where one can feed off of positive energy.
It doesn't matter whether your home is outside in nature or in an apartment,
as long as you can feel free to be yourself.

Then,
you're truly "home"

Wallace, that is a bit poetic, but I don't think anyone could express that feeling better than what you just did. We are all very happy for you.

Thanks you very much.dinasset.

I'm sure I'll enjoy the new place.
Just as soon as I get settled in.

I'll post some pictures,
once I get things all set up.
