I pay Yahoo $10/year (yes year) and don't see the add's in my email interface for my Yahoo account that I've been using since 1997. I pay AT&T around $14/month and it's all adds (keep this email account since all my resumes and stuff use it and don't want to have to change every freaking job board that I've signed up for and for a few other things) since they transferred to Yahoo. Go figure. Guess you can all call me a dumb dumb now.

haha, no I am the dumbest of the dumb...I am still using aol for email. I started in 2000 when I got my first real computer, and it came with a free 6 mos. of AOL. I went from paying $25 a month for dial-up to $9.99 a month (got a deal code from one of the aol message board people). AOL used to have the best ever set up for message boards, but they ruined it to go html, opened it up to the rest of the world, all in the name of advert money. Since I didn't want to change my email, which like Lyle, was listed all over, I just went to free aol when I got DSL via my phone company. I never use AOL to go online, it's horrible...worse than IE!
