I don't think this one will live long enough for me to send it. I will find you a little baby one instead, this one is HUGE.

Sorry to hear about your marigolds, Molly. Bugs take their toll on my pepper plants too. After they get a little bigger, they can usually handle the bugs.

Thanks Tux, the glory of trying to grow your own vegies, sure glad I don't have to depend on them to survive. It is one of those things to be able to say, these came out of my own garden, even though it cost just as much for pesticides and home made brews to produce them. Funny, I never have any problems with pepper plants.

Even though we live fairly far out from the main city, we have never had a rabbit problem. We do have rabbits around as I often see them running away when I drive in at night. We do have bug problems, and use Sevin to take care of that. This year, our biggest problem is weather. We have had two hailstorms, and all our gardens are pretty beat up and scraggly looking from the hail. They are sort of shredded looking , lol. Too much rain is causing our strawberries to be rather flavorless and they are rotting before they are fully ripe.

That is so funny. I know my mother used to cook rabbit stew a lot but I don't remember where the rabbits came from. I guess I was too young to remember.
I'll tell ya what, when I catch the next one, I will ship it down there. Rabbit with dumplings will be fine.

I haven't had rabbit in a long time but it is a popular dish. Rabbit's are actually out of season now. You can't eat rabbit in the summer. They have parasites that can make you sick.

I guess I will pass and stick to chicken.

we cook our rabbit or other gamey meat in vegetarian stock and it gets very tender and really tasty aswell
