Very nice Tux, they are a lot more advanced than mine. These are some varieties I haven't seen before so let us know how they are.

Well my friends, assuming that my garden is my fridge. I have such good tomatoes too. I can assure you they are delicious.

Very nice arrangement Issabella, I see you have Zucchini, hot pepper, sweet red pepper and a cucumber. Your tomatoes look like beef steak. And onions looks like shallots.

Molly, I've tried a few of the Chocolate Cherry tomatoes that have already ripened. They were tasty. I'll let you know about the Brandywine heirlooms but they are supposed to be very good.

Issabella, those look like some nice organically grown tomatoes and other vegetables. I'll bet they are tasty. Mine are also grown with no chemical fertilizers or pesticides. No GMOs either.

You're right GnuTux, chemical-free products are the best. They taste different as they were when we were children, aren't they? Let us know when you taste them.

Lyle, you always do such a good job at making things seamless. What is your secret?

Tux, your Sweet Million Cherry Hybird tomatoes look the same as what we call Vine Tomatoes. We get them from the grocery stores and they are all so perfect. I have never tried growing them though. It is hard to visualize how one stem can hold all that weight on one branch.

We always grow a big garden, and I love trying new varieties. My favorite tomato is Eva Purple Ball, it is an open pollinated heirloom, so they re-seed themselves every year. I did try Brandywine one year, they are big and delicious, but not as prolific and the hybrids.

That's great Lyle your seamless and yours Oregonian with the text. I like it very much.

I twist tie stakes to the tomato cages, then twist tie branches that have heavy fruit to the the stakes and to the cage itself. There is no way the branches could hold those big heirlooms. The branches would break and/or it would just fall over on the ground. I attempt to prune and train the vines to grow where I want them to grow. Although, it doesn't always work out like I'd planned.

My cherry tomatoes seed themselves all the time.
In the spring when I first look at the garden, I see them coming up and I can indentify by the shape of the leaves, so I scoop them out and move them to an appropriate place where I can tie them up.
