Due to busyness and forgetfulness, I didn't get around to posting these earlier in the year but Molly has just given me a nudge to get them posted.

The worst thing about my journey was a roll I had in Arlanda airport that contained Swedish caviar. I forced half of it down me then went running to the nearest Presbyrån to buy a Snickers to take the taste away. It became a standing Joke among AnMal's family to offer me caviar at mealtimes. In Orsa we were greeted with lots of snow and temperatures that, on a good day, warmed up to around minus thirteen. Apart from a bad cold, I was able to have a good time and get out a bit.

GÖTEBORG (GOTHENBURG)

On new years eve, we visited one of AnMal's friends and had crayfish cooked in garlic, various kinds of whiskey, including a 40 year old whiskey from the Orkney Islands and champagne at midnight. On new years day we headed to Göteborg where I developed an abscess that inflated half of my face and I had to see a dentist to get some antibiotics. Again, I was still able to have a good time and we explored Göteborg quite a bit.

Very interesting pictures Erisian. The buildings are very beautiful with all the sculptures. Except for the few minor aches and pains it looks like you had a very good adventure. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for sharing your captures with us Erisian. Though you had a little issue, it still looks like you had a wonderful time, you and AnMal that is. :)

Yeah, shame it was too cold to play in it - I haven't built a snowman for decades!
