We had quite a loud Thunderstorm last Tuesday night [2nd Oct]. The day had been warmest is had been since Winter and the evening cool brought it on.
I took over 200 shots but didn't get a Lightning strike unfortunately but have got a couple here of how the sky was lit up from the dark.
Actually I probably missed the best shots because I tend to stay away from street lights (Does that really matter with lightning?), and I came inside when it started to rain hard. The lightning and thunder shook the earth at my place.
I have 3 photos here and will try to upload a montage of the best I got at Flickr. Will put a link in here when I do

Stupid Flickr won't even let you load png any more. Used to and then convert them. I had to change it to a jpg myself.
This montage at full size is 12,864 x10,452 pixels

I had a problem trying to use an old script in new GIMP. Logo-toolbox.scr was to big for the window, so it was unusable. I searched for a solution thinking I could write a procedure into the script to make a scrollbar when I came across a hacked script-fu.exe that does just that. My problem is that this file is four years older than the one that comes with GIMP 2.10.6 and about 37 Kb smaller, I cant help but wonder what I am missing in trade for a scroll bar on this one toolbox.

Nice photos sallyann.

'theozzlives' - Welcome to Gimp Chat. You may need to put your question in a new post. Not good to use the hacked script-fu files in new versions of Gimp. It breaks other scripts.
There could be a keyboard combination that lets you scroll up and down. Not sure what it is on windows.
