It's a different issue whichever way you look at it. For many people it will be a good thing having that backup, but for everyone doing it without notice is wrong.
I'll stop now before I go on a rant about companies dumbing down security...

There is nothing to worry about! We are all safe as everyone knows, Microsoft software can't be hacked.

Microsoft may be digging themselves a deep hole that they won't be able to climb out of, if they keep on this track.
I was recently talking with a Tech guy, when buying a new HDD from an online store and he felt that Microsoft may be on it's way out.
I personally don't feel that this will happen, but if they keep up their "Shenanigans" it won't be good for their future.

Won't hurt my feelings if they are on their way out... They have ruled the roost long enough.
GO... Linux... Best OS out there.
