I am hoping someone here can help me. I make digital invitations. When I create a 4x6 and then go to print it it cuts off. I read that I needed to make it a true digital print which is 4x5.3 but it is still cutting off the printed file. Does anyone know what I need to do or what settings/size I need to change everything to so that I can get it to print and not cut off? Thanks in advance.

Hi, MK,

I'll take a stab at misunderstanding you.

An aside: I wonder why a digital invitation has to be printed.

I'll assume you mean 8-1/2x11 on a color laser printer. Be aware that most printers "protect themselves" by reserving a non-printable margin at the edge of the paper which they will simply refuse to print in--resulting in cut off. This is commonly 1/4 inch.

However, I was able to take an image and resize it, arbitrarily, to your 4x5.3 inches, and then look at it in Print Preview, which did not show any cutting-off.

File->Print-><SelectPrinter>-><PageSetupTab--doublecheck all settings make sense>-><ImageSettingsTab--verify that size is 4x5.3 and Preview shows no cutoff>.

Sorry if I've wasted your time: I did not mean to.

Maybe there is a choice of printing to edges?
