...for the second time I could not access GIMPChat through my ISP, AT&T, and had to use an online proxy server to do so. Now AT&T works again. Very strange. Is anyone else having issues accessing GIMPChat conventionally? Just curious. :)

That happened to me a few days ago.
I unplugged my router,
restarted my PC.
Then plugged the router back in,
everything was fine after that.

Yeah; the last time I reset the cable modem and then all appeared well. This time I did the same and still no go. Half hour later and all was well (but already knew it's not GIMPChat itself since I checked the is it down website and also was able to access the site via an online proxy server). Oh well. Hope AT&T isn't getting hacked. :)

I also checked to see if GC was down.
It's hard to say what it was.

OK; problem came back again. This time, I manually entered an external proxy server address (174.143.201.179:80). Not sure how safe it is, but it does allow me to visit GIMPChat at the moment. Crazy; have no idea what's going on. The bad thing about doing this is Privoxy isn't protecting me (and no, it's not Privoxy causing the problem since even in my Host OS, I cannot access GIMPChat). :)

How do you feel about trying Google's Public DNS,
to see if that works?

I was using google DNS. Changed to OpenDNS and still had issues. Well, put Privoxy back in and, of course still had issues, but read somewhere that I should flush my DNS, so I did. That now appears to work. I first did an NSLookup and it returned 108.160.151.87 . I then directly plugged this in my address bar and got and error that told me to flush my DNS and now can access GIMPChat again. I'm betting that there was an IP change to GIMPChat and the DNS hasn't replicated yet. :)

I'm guessing you used "cmd", "ipconfig /flushdns" right?

You posted too fast; re-edited my last post, Wallace. lol

My bet is GIMPChat updated its IP address and the DNS hasn't properly replicated yet. Seen issues like this before. :)

Oh; okay I understand.
I think you're probably right.
