I woke up with a swollen upper right-side lip. Did some searching and they call it angiodema. Could be an allergic reaction. I do know I'm allergic to shrimp, but I've not eaten anything like this the past few days. Thought it might be an insect bite since I did a lot of cleaning yesterday (pushed by my sister and brother and law; they insisted. lol), but I see no bite. Have a concert to play in later today (Fall concert), but I don't think there's a problem since I don't need by upper lip to play. lolol

Guess I'm just to look funny the next few days (no; won't be taking any pictures of it; lol). :)

Lyle, put some of ice into a plastic bag and it wrapped in cloth. Put it from time to time on your swollen lip. be constant in your applications. I think it will help you. I hope it. :)

Got an icepack on it now issabella (except when I'm typing). lol

That and antihistamine were the therapies mentioned. Most of the time this condition's harmless by the way, but it can be harmful if you are experiencing breathing problems (I'm not, fortunately). I recall having this before (like when I was a kid). Oh well; no kid any longer. lol

Thanks for your suggestion; good instinct on your part.

Anyway, won't be putting an ice pack on my lip when I hit the sack for a few more zzzzzz tough. :)

lol

Indeed it does, Wallace. lololololol

After I woke up (after taking a Benadryl capsule) 5 hours later, my lip was still swollen but not as much. Regardless, you can still call me Elvis. ;)

:)

Played fine (like I said; don't need my upper lip; just the central incisors. A fib too; forget that we suppose to skip the repeat so got lost for a bit on one of the songs we played. lolol

Don't like taking antihistamines, but may take one before before I hit the sack this evening.

To Wallace: you are so right. lol

:)

Just woke up (will soon try to steal another 3 hours sleep) and my lip's all but recovered. Thanks for the concerns, but I'm fine. :)
