My apologies for posting here but there are some smart cookies on this list I can't find anywhere else.

Introductory videos to teach your how OBS works were created but when I click on any of them they all play so tiny I need an electron microscope to view them.

I tried holding down the Ctrl key and taping the Plus number key but that just made the screen larger not the video.

I think the video creator (or YouTube) must have used some kind of compression software to compress the size of the video but I have no idea what software they used or how to un-compress it.

I tried to include 2 url video samples but I got the error message my message was too spammy for a new user.

I'm actually not a new user but I had to create a whole new account because I could not log in with my formerly used user name, password and email address.

I had no moderator or administrator email address to email so as my only recourse I created a new user account.

I can't find any email or contact info for the video creator.

I'd very much appreciate your thoughts and suggestions about enlarging these videos so I can see them.

Thanks so much for your kind help.

"electron microscope" ?
Does the video have a title/name?
Is this video about OBS,
and or does it have anything to do with the use of GIMP?

Scaling up a video is just the same as scaling up any image, using any tool, less than wonderful if more than x2

If it is just a matter of viewing then use VLC (videolan) http://www.videolan.org/vlc/index.html There are menu options to zoom.

If you really want to resize the video there are plenty of 'free' applications around. Most come loaded with adware.

Guessing you want something with a GUI and simple. This one is ok. WinFF http://winff.org/html_new/ versions there for Windows and linux.

You could go all out and use a video editor. Avidemux will work but there is a bit of a learning curve http://fixounet.free.fr/avidemux/download.html versions for Windows, Linux, OSX

I just wanted to watch the videos.

This forum refuses to allow me to include the urls to the videos so you can see what I see.

Is Wallace still on this list?

We've traded emails before and he's a good guy.

Maybe he can so something administratively which will allow me to include urls?

I didn't want have to edit any videos - just see them.

Thanks.

You need to make 5 posts to be able to add links.

I have many more posts under my other registered name which this system would not admit me under my old password but did recognize my email address. That's what forced me to create another account.

Wallace can vouch for our many online posts exchanged.

Is Wallace still part of this list?

Thanks.

What video are you trying to view?
You should be able to post links now.

Yes, that did not work. The system recognizes my email address but not my user name and/or password which I used last year (2016).

Is there anyway to recover my former account?

Thank you.

PM me,
let me know what the name of the previous account was and I'll see what I can do.
