I just bought a course on Udemy for like $19 CAD.
It has 70hrs of teaching videos.
It teaches Unity3D to make 2D and 3D games from beginners to advanced.
Unity3D is free (personal edition) if you make less than $100,000 in the last fiscal year. If you make more than well $35/seat is a small price to pay.
On the list of who uses Unity3D I saw EA Sports game company.
The reason i am taking this course is because my friend as an idea for a video game. And I want to be the programmer and maybe even the artist (I might take another course on game pixel arts for also $19 on Udemy as well, but i 'll wait till i finish this course first).
I want to spend 2hrs of videos per day so that should take me a little over a month.
I am just too excited about taking this course that I had to share with somebody so that's why I shared this on here..hehehe.
Hopefully anything they teach related to photoshop i can do it in GIMP.
Then if/when i finish making my friend's game for the games credit or whatever I can put GIMP as one of the programs used in making it.

And about thing that can't be done in Gimp instead of photoshop...
