Well kind'a ...
it's our member's favorites.
I just added a link on top at https://gimplearn.net so that if visitors click on GL: Radio ... (it'll take them to a random play list of our member's favorite songs).

Now people have a playlist to listen to while fiddling around in GIMP.
An opportunity to learn about other members' musical tastes (I think it'll connect us more).

Thanks, I think it's the best idea I have had since beginning of GL.
I am enjoying this "Radio" so much.
Feels like member requests radio, but commercial free! Youtube's shuffle feature still show video ads so this randomtube does great job.

Should we build one for GC members?
Where maybe each member shares their favorite say 3 songs?

It's up to the GC community.

How would it work,
if we were to do it?

I created another new topic

People can just post their top 3 songs and I'll create a playlist on youtube and share the link to randomplay in the first post of that topic (so people have quick easy access to the radio link).

That was easy enough.

I was thinking of creating a poll.
Asking if people would want and use this,
but that's alright.
No poll needed now.

Wallace since you're more GC based (now). Do you want to gimp up a GC radio image? That i can use as the playlist thumbnail on youtube?
Think of it like a GC Radio logo/slogan. Then I'll create a 3 second video of the image and use it as thumbnail image for the playlist.

I'll share the image in the first post of that other thread too as an brand image of GC Radio station :D

i think 1024 x 768 is decent. But it doesn't matter if it larger it'll just resize it to fit. If it's wrong dimensions it'll just put it in center and fill black around it.

Thats looks really nice I just removed the two white (looks like left over) on the right edge of image.
Create a short 10 second video showing this image, added it to youtube playlist and set this video's thumbnail as playlist's thumbnail.

I obviously didn't notice those white leftover pixels.
