Purchased 2 big ones and 2 packets of McCormick rub ($1 each) and the grand total (after tax) was just under $17 (saved over $25 according to Winn-Dixie receipt). I put one in the Freezer and cut the other one in two and cooked half of that after I got off work (already prepared it with Rub and put it in the fridge before I left work the morning). I added some additional stuff (a swig of Italian dressing and just a tad of liquid bbq sauce along with 3 cups water to create the pressure; placed a bowl on the bottom of the cooker to raise up the BB so it wouldn't drench and cooked it for 120 minutes under pressure and rested 10 minutes before releasing the steam). I took out the portion (and had a hard time keeping it from crumbling in the tongs) in a bowl and commenced to pull the pork. I added the rest of the bbq sauce and what was left of my Orange Sweet and Sour sauce (for the extra sweetness; no regrets) to it while pulling. Man freaking delicious (just finished eating a sandwich of the stuff 15 minutes til Midnight; lol). I still have the other half in the fridge (not to mention the smaller butt in the freezer for later) to cook. Out of sauce so will have to get some before repeating this wonderful experiment. Happy stomach and tongue at the moment. lol
Man; still liking my Wave pressure cooker XL. Paid under $50 for it. Best investment I ever made as far as cookware is concerned. Makes perfect rice too I might add. Just had to share, so apologies in advance for my elation. lol
