Canonical is far from communist.
We Gentooers have a strong dislike for all *buntu stuff.
And Canonical wants eventually to make big $$.
Which is counter to the open source ideal.

I must comment on the beauty of Cape Sudo. We spend every update there. Oh, and if you're traveling from afar, don't worry about the rumors of being a rogue state. That's just something our neighbors to the south like to accuse us of. The unity there is, well, lacking many say. I would advise that you to fly into to the Mint terminal in Byobu. The characters are much more colorful there.

Well, as we say here, "Sudo apt-get install you."
