I wish someone would make a Gimp plugin to print lightscribe labels. I'm using Nero cover designer and since I'm used to Gimp and Inkscape it's very inferior. Or if there already is a plugin to do it I'd like to be enlightened about where to get it.

Here is a screen shot of available labels - Filters/Combine/make label page

Image

cd-labeling - Filters/Render/CD-mask
When you use this be sure what you want labeled is on the left side of the image as the filter takes everything on the left side and creates the label with those contents.I suggest cropping to what you want on the cover.
Just a heads up. :)

I design my lightscribe images in Gimp and print with LaCie LightScribe Labeler for Linux.
