Not able to login with FireFox browser

The last few days i have not been able to access Gimp Chat on FireFox browser. Using DuckDuckGo now without any issues.
Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem?

I get the same thing for months I just kept quiet about it and I tried on different version of Firefox

I do not normally use Firefox, but I just gave it a go and got the same erroneous result - Firefox just displayed your error message.

I use Firefox without any problem.
Hopefully it stays like that.

Since recent (for me) update to Foxy v134.0 this error appears both on Login and page refresh.
Assume it comes from a security fix for sites deemed as 'not secure'.

I had this yesterday for a couple of hours on Firefox, then it disappeared and everything worked again.

When I had the same problem recently it was because I had an entry in my /hosts file with the incorrect URL.

I think it just has to do with the newest FF update. Waiting for the next one to see if it gets fixed.

Erisian and quietreader, do you let FireFox auto update?

I installed FireFox 133.0 (older version), and now it works. I got the error window once and then a clicked try agian and voila.

Lost all my cool bookmarks but it was getting kind of cluttery anyways.

I also set the new installed version to ask about updates.

Yes, mine is set to auto update. I am using a Linux version, I don't know if that might make a difference.

Using Linux, too.
I don't let it auto update. It has to notify me and then I decide when I have time for the update.
i'm on FF 134.0 at the moment.

I apologize for everyone's inconvenience.
I haven't used/installed FF in many years.
I often switch between browsers,
with my main and default browser being Brave.
My secondary browser is Vivaldi.
As a third Google Chrome.
I have not experienced these page errors,
as described in this thread.
