As I was riding home today down a lane I was attacked by a Koala bear. Well he didn't really attack me but ran out of someones garage and straight into my scooter. Poor thing. He had a bit of a bloody nose but was still well enough to come at me again after I backed up to see if it was alright. Thsnk goodness I got home in one piece as it gave me a bit of a fright.
Must have been shooed out of someone's garage or was running from something as it was growling even before it hit me.

Wow Sallyanne,
that must’ve been such a shock!
I’m glad you’re okay.
Sounds like the poor koala was just as startled.
What a wild and unexpected ride home!

When I first read the title, I thought you were cyber attacked like Rod. lololol

You folk down under do have crazy situations. We have similar ones here with another marsupial (had trapped 2 opossums in my home a few years back). lololol

@Wallace
Yes it did shake me up a bit. I thought for a minute I was gonna come of my scooter again.

@Lyle
Not sure where he came from but sounded like a wild one. There are some gum trees (which they like) near the lane I went down but it was in the burbs. Same day earlier on a lady told me that she had a possum in her home hiding under her bed. She still came out and left it to find its way out. Apparently it got in through the cat flap. She lives in the burbs too but a little closer to the Adelaide hills where there is more wildlife.

@Rod
They can get really angry if riled up. I am amazed at the speed it came at me - that fast I couldn't make out what it was at first. I initially thought cat because of the furry body but koalas are a bit bigger.

Yikes - glad it was nothing worse and that you're ok now - sounds like a good family story for the years to come though SallyAnne.
Don't suppose there's any real way to prevent something like that from happening. Could it be a new problem for AI to look into?
