Saw this on Slashdot. Not sure how this will reflect in regular 2D digital editing like I do, but it still perked my interest and I hope it perks yours too. A game changer? Only time will tell. :)

Groovy. And just when I was beginning to like polygons, haha.

Saw this already last year when they made their first announcement. Will be interesting to see if they can truly deliver as grandly as they promise. Secret development and mystery algorithms are always something to be cautious around. Would be very cool if it was true though. :D

One step closer to real world holographs. :) - like Star Treks Holodeck!
Just think you can go on vacation anywhere you like.In one huge room.
Virtual reality has come a long way.

Groovy. Running around in Rama or virtual shopping in Wal-Mart. Wow.

They spent all of their time praising their 'amazing breakthrough' and not a second explaining it.

Until they show how, I'm calling bull- er, BS.

Keep in mind anyone can make a world as amazingly detailed as they want and then render a video of it frame-by-frame for months. Think of how movies like Wall-E are made.

I think it's fake. Would be cool if it were real, but for now I don't believe it.

But just like Disney World, you still will have to wait in line 10 minutes for a 2 minute ride Nix. lol

I think they may have something. Some variation of voxels or some new way to map viewing frustrum. But, as usual, it's not the tool, it's the artist who makes the technology look interesting. So, we *may* have some more fun. :)

it's Always the artist......every time some people I know get excited about the latest new tech toy I point out that da Vinci used a pencil :paint

That said I love my computer software and this one looks to be potentially quite fun :jumpclap
