I gave it a go and it didn't turn out too bad actually. :clap
Each piece of road is separate with its own bg layers.
For some reason i couldn't get the GIMP logo the right color. :gaah =(
Maybe if i would have changed it before i added it as a new layer?
I bet a cone would have looked cool in this image.

Anyways here it is!

You can download the xcf here: total size is 43.77 mb :hehe

Cool! Great job on the road and cracks. Would be awesome if Wilbur was normal colored and sort of misshapen with tiretread marks across him, and yeah, cones would be good! Lol, love the concept!

I think it looks great! The cones could use some de-noising but otherwise I think it looks pretty darned good! When I download the file, I will look to see why Wilbur's colors are off.

I am looking forward to your input.I think if i would have used the curves tool before i transferred wilburs logo in the xcf i would have been able to change the hue to a correct color.

I duplicated the Wilbur layer a couple of times and recolored each Wilbur layer. I experimented with different blend modes and opacities. I also bump mapped the Wilburs using the asphalt.
