I am unable to use any of the smiley's or tools [SOLVED]

This is more of a browser problem, I think than a GC or Gimp one.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling your browser? It sounds to me like you have a javascript issue.

No I haven't done that yet. I will give that a try.

Thanks Mike, I didn't have to uninstall FF. Somehow my Javascript button on my pref bar was unclicked. I sure hope I remember this the next time this happens. WHEW. I really don't care all that much for Opera.

I use Safari because it's already installed, but on my pc, I liked Firefox the best.

It's funny how browsers can be good or bad depending on your setup. Since Opera came out I've always had it but seldom use it, much like IE. Firefox was a natural progression for me I think it's one of the best along with Chrome. I have Firefox locked down a bit more with no Flash for starters. Both Firefox and Chrome have some useful addons I like, Web Developer for Firefox and Pendule for Chrome, for checking out images and more.

I have been using FF now for about 15 years. would never use IE, I think it sucks. I was using Chrome a couple years back and there are some good features and I think it is a bit faster. I still like FF the best.
