ek22: (my third burst of uncontrollable enthusiasm on gc today, i'm getting embarrassing!) j m jarre!!!! i remember first time i heard anything by him, it was a sort of revelation. and for a while his equinoxe/oxygène was one of very few records played on my family's car stereo when we were travelling, on the simple grounds that all of us liked it and it gave none of us acute nausea .

Yeah I love this stuff. IT makes for a good background when I play or do things in gimp.

I have several of Jarre's CDs (through Freshair 7 as I recall) but they are all in my storage unit and it's literally been over a decade since I played them (too many personal issues to share here as to why). I like Jarre's version better, but the original is what I first listened too from one of my Dad's LPs back in the early 70s. My first introduction into New Age and I didn't even know it at that time and didn't appreciate this genre until I started to listen to Kitaro back in the early 90s.

Don't actually like popcorn, it's like trying to eat screwed up bits of cardboard but the songs ok, so lets have a classic version.
