Some cat sketches! Feel free to state which style you liked best!
I'm bad at animals (it's the legs that give me the most issue!) so any CnC for that would be helpful!

I also was trying to draw faces at different angles, I hope they are distinctive as I'm very bad at angles. xD
I wasn't aiming for well drawn faces, just trying to get the right idea for angles!

I think you are good at animals and you draw the legs pretty well. I like all your characters but feel most drawn to the cute female ones. I love the whole cat with the bell collar.

Wellllllll if I'm drawing animals with human characteristics like standing and stuff like that I guess I'm okay, it's when they get on all fours it gets confusing! I'm glad you think I'm okay at animals, though. xD

I like my female characters too! But I feel bad that I draw females ALL the time...I feel like an art sexist. xD
I just can't seem to draw male figures, their chest and hips are such a pain!!

You might have noticed that most of my characters are female too.

Now that you mention it they are.

mokonafan: ooooh these are lovely sketches!!! you make me very jealous - but i'm actually not jealous of your lovely looking results, i couldn't make those sketches anyway because they're so far from my style. what i'm really jeallous of is that you put the time and energy into sketching things you think you're not good at and you're making progress. long time since i was that disciplined!
i love your cats, all of them are good and the full figured one shows you're getting the hang of the all fours thing . i really like your faces too, both male and female. you seem to get the angles right most of the time now, so i think the exercise has been useful . i never manage to draw men properly either, by the way, they always come out looking really feminine!

erisian: but in all honesty you have to admit many of your female characters come out looking a little bit masculine i think you should draw some more nice looking men like that sketch you destroyed!

You mean the one with a third eye on a tentacle AnMal?

mokonafan: i have managed to go off topic in your thread again, really sorry! we were speaking about your sketches and they deserve some more comments, so i hope i haven't chased any away for you. my only excuse is that erisian's graphics tablet sketching is really impressive and fun to watch.

erisian: it was a very attractive tentacle and third eye! sorry for dragging you off topic with me like this, i'll stop it, i promise.

welllllllll a lot of the time I get lazy trying to sketch, but when I can inspiration I can do stuff like this. xD
