Spring is here!

I just came back from a lovely relaxing walk in the woods near my home:

The woods have a guardian

And finally, a sad reminder of the violent storms we had this winter.

You gotta be kidding Aris, we still have tons of snow and it is not melting very quickly. I can't believe you have all those flowers out already, they are beautiful.

I would have loved some of your snow - we didn't get any this winter

However, now the sun is out and the birds are singing I'm looking forward to nice sunny things. I've also started a gardening course with the gardening therapy group I'm with so the sunshine will be most welcome. I'm looking forward to nurturing the champagne bubbles I've planted. (I think they are also called Icelandic poppies) :yes

erisian: ooooh, those are lovely photos, coffee man!! what a beautiful walk you must have had! spring hasn't progressed quite that far in göteborg, but i saw blooming mezereons and budding willows on my own walk, so we're getting there.

OK; how did you Euros still our weather giving yours to us? I know you are hiding a weather machine somewhere. lol

Actually, today was a perfect day here in Alabama though I had to sleep through most of it since i work on Weekend Mids. It's actually going to be in the mid 70s (thats mid 20s for you Celsius loving folk) by Tuesday. Crazy yoyo weather we are having since we had freezing temperatures just a few days back.

Still big snowdrifts here in Northwest Ohio, but there are patches of grass showing through. Several snow showers today, but it's not the horrible freezing blizzardy stuff we had before. It's been a really long and cold winter here.
