Different but good. it isn't a plugin, rather a stand alone application. Rather than effects all it does is drawing styles. it's good, it's free, it's simple, it's easier for you to try it than for anybody to explain it.

Give them a temporary address, thats what i alwas do.
i never ever give a site or forum my real one until i'm sure i'm staying there. And even then i have one email account just for forums and sites, etc.

David Lyon is the guy behind FotoSketcher. He's a member of several forums that I frequent and he does top notch work. Been using Foto?Sketcher for several years now so I can vouch for this gem. Use it quite often (but not quite often here since I try to keep it mainly GIMP or at worse, keep it all Open Source here with some PS filters maybe; lol). It's a free program for Windows (not sure if it will run in Wine, but I bet you it will) and I highly recommend it myself. Good that you posted this thread Alonte. :)

darn...I downloaded what I googled as fotosketcher for mac, but then the exe said it was a window's application. So I guess there is no mac version after all.

Hey 2-ton. David's been collaborating with some MAC developers and they created a program called Sketcher. It's not free though.

Since I am a big fan of free...I will just download this on the old slow pc...I can send files back and forth between the pc and mac, it's a pain but if I want certain programs, I just gotta deal.
