Looks kinda like northern lights.
Nice works for a (starter?)! I think the main problem is you blur things out too much, try and make different depths, shadows and line thicknesses help in that.

Wow! I really love this last one. I wish I could paint foliage like that. The depths in the foreground are really good. One thing to comment on is the upper green foliage is a bit bright. If it is even with the grey foliage, maybe it should be greyed down a bit.

Hey everyone! long time no see!
I've been hard at work trying to improve my technique since I first came here, trying to create a paint by numbers, (Which I still use on occasion, actually)
I figured, It's been over half a year since I lest checked in. Perhaps I should show how I've been doing, and confirm that I ain't dead. (I know, nobody here has said it, but it has happened to me in the past)

Here are some things that I have done since I last checked in.

Hey really nice landscapes Nite Shadow - I love the grass - that's a lot of paint strokes!

So, I'm sure you all noticed that weird looking painting at the top of the listing.
Well, I decided to revisit that, and fine tune what I already had painted in that abstract piece.


This was completed by blending only colors that already existed in the painting.
Done using Colors 3d on Nintendo 3ds, since I'm still waiting for the replacement touch screen for my tablet.

Got my tablet fixed!
