Wow some of the stuff here is amazing. Love you fractal Erisian. Something I didn't do earlier was put my stuff through G'MIC before or after.
Can't see your pic yet Lyle. :( Flickr is down in Australia....Has been for the last at least 24 hours.

Yup; it's officially now a binge folks. lol

Just wish the site wasn't so stingy and would allow a higher resolution output. :)

Thinks maybe you can only use it a certain amount of times before it gets to know you.
I was doing something this evening amd wanted to do more but cannot. Have even tried closing the page and starting again.
This is what I got up to. From nuts, whirled and rodillus

lylejk: all your latest stuff here is awesome! seamless texture is one of my plans too, but of course i won't be able to use it in sculpture generator.
erisian: you already know i'm thrilled by these experiments and their results but of course i'll repeat it anyway :). the fractals are just too cool and i love the way you cobine gimp, alchemy and the deep dream generator.
sallyanne: hmm... what do you mean with that about getting to know you - didn't it let you generate at all? or did you get the same result over and over? i've been able to make over 20 generations of one picture without problem and both me and erisan have generated hudreds of images without problem. i sure hope they don't keep count and only give you a limited number, that would be just too mean! in any case, i really like your whirled one, i
'm gonna have to whirl my next one too :).

lyle and erisian aren't the only ones on a binge - here's one of mine, "a portrait of miss woof and her imaginary friends and enemies".

Amazingly wacky stuff everybody.

I painted a walrus quickly a long time ago and I thought I would do something with it.

Cool Sallyanne.

As for using Sculpture Generator AnMal, you just have to save a texture that already exists (New5 is the name I use) as PPM (believe the binary option) and copy it in the folder. I use to do the preview as well, but don't anymore since I change out this file often. Of course, I kept a backup of the original texture.

Some very cool dreams I'm seeing here. Looks like the folks that created this online program has more dreams in the works. I've not signed up to get an invite yet though. :)

none of my generated pics look as good as those posted here. You can barely see the patterns and it just makes them look a bit dirty and warped. Is there a secret to make them look better?

you can try refeeding your output as input again multiple times to make it more defined.

Like Tran said 2-ton. Just wish the online version would automagically do this based on a setting. :)

okey dokey, now we are getting something nice and crazy...redid it 3 times, then went GMIC crazy and fed that result in. Oy, I should have done a screen cap so it's not so large a file.

haha, yes, Erisian, this is pretty addictive. I do wish there were a few parameters we could choose, though.

2-ton: oh that is weird - in a good way :hehe ! yeah, some things i'd like to change is what search ... eh, tool? function? bot? what do they call them thingies? that we use for the generation. i gathered from the first discussion of this here on gc that the artefacts showing up depend a lot on what the ... eh thingy, is trained to look for. for example, if one of them was trained to search for paisleys and cars it would tend to give us vague paisley shapes and wheels, back lanterns, doors, etc. at least i think that's how it works! that's a parameter i'd like to set for myself. and also i'd like to set an automatic repetition of the same image, so i wouldn't have to save and run the same one over and over. ah well, we can always dream!
erisian: the hexagram is lovely, but you knew that already. i want to see your chalice experiment though!

i had a headache yesterday and didn't get much play with gimp or deep dream. i did get this, though - and admit you all knew it was gonna come :hehe !

oh, and i finished this from my bunch of earlier deep dreams:

@ AnMal....I was thinking it may get to know your computer address. It wouldn't even let me upload the same picture which I had just generated again. The upload button kept on being rep[laced quickly by ads. Definitely didn't get to twenty times.
I wouldn't look at their ads though. Maybe I had to? And I haven't signed up to the site yet. Might try it again today.

That lady looks like she has entered the land of oz....Mad hatter in a tree or is that a chesire cat I see? :)

sallyanne: aah, the ads! i had that right from the start, but for me it doesn' t block the whole upload button, it leaves a small strip at the bottom that i can use. erisian doesn't get the ad at all, he thinks it's because he has an adblocker. do you have an adblocker? i don't know if it would help to sign up on the site, but i was going to do that anyway so i'll tell you if it worked.

Lovely paisleys AnMal

2-ton - I would love to have some parameters to play with too.

Here's the chalice experiment AnMal...

And here's a composite based on one of my old 3D fractals...

Since the result is the same resolution as download button, you could aways just right-click on the image and save too Sallyanne. :)
