FYI I was looking for a new panoramic image stitcher and I came across a really easy and powerful one from Microsoft, the "Image Composite Editor". It can be found at:

Not a bad job in my opinion.
Throw in your images, and let ICE do the rest...Pretty easy.
I do however like to stitch my images together myself, in Gimp.
