Where to start learning about 3D animation? This is a topic that I am strongly interested in, and I'd like to begin the process of learning and self-teaching myself. Does anyone have any suggestions for where to start, especially with a certain book, video, and/or tutorial software?

Hello dzsenifer.
There is plenty of 3D apps out there, few of them ar very expensive and few ar for free as Blender.

On YouTube you have plenty of tutorials to learn from.

Good luck.

The 3D app I use a lot is DAZ Studio which is a free 3D modeling and animation app for mac or pc. Also, as mentioned by Lurifax73, Blender is free too but a little more complex.
