Hi there,

Today I drew some flowers in Inkscape. Inkscape and Gimp are so versatile that no one can ever use all the tools, options and menus present in them in ones lifetime.

very nice subtle shading. I have never been able to do much with any vector program, I wish I had time to work on it

Envolope 3D is a build in Extension under Extensions-->Modiy Path. Select the path and run it. You can control the angle, blur height and other parameters.

Very Easy.
