blender for beginners

does anyone know of any blender tutorials that i can use to get started with? Most of the ones i found they talk like you need a P.H.D to learn it, personally i can't stand people who try to make what they do seem harder then what it is
dealing with arrogant snobs is not my strong suit they go against my character, get a few extra knots in your belt and think you have the right to talk down everyone because their still trying and your not, your arrogance offends me

I prefer the text more so than vids too. It takes so long to keep pausing and going back. I like it in front of me one step at a time. Blender looks pretty hard to me.

I used to think blender was hard also. I had played with it years back. When i looked at the new ui I almost freaked. But with the manuals I'm studying, it has become really easy to understand.

I made a text tutorial on The Basics of Blender. I haven't had time to make the video tutorial yet though, but that'll definitely be made. I'll post it on here for people who wanna learn Blender when I get around to making it.

I also have a tutorial for The Basics of Gimp as well, but these tutorials will be like an hour and a half long, cause these tutorials will be like a noob to pro videos where I show you what the tools do as well as filters, and create some effects. Plus I'll explain everything as we go.
