I found these two lurking at the bottom of the garden.
I did a bit of work using RawTherapee, my current favourite RAW editing software. The vibrance filter does a good job on pumping up the colours. I'm also starting to use manual focus more as the images look a bit sharper than they do when I use autofocus.

Thanks for the comments everyone. I actually posted the wrong picture here by mistake. The copy at DeviantArt has both of the figures in pretty sharp focus whereas the one here has the guy a little bit blurry. I've been using a 50mm prime lens lately for this kind of close up work, I seem to get better results with it than I do with any of my zoom lenses.
