it's a PS plug-in (.8bf) accepted by GIMP

In Linux, I believe you have to install wine and XnView in order to open .8bf files..

If you have Linux, just go to root in your terminal and go yum install wine. then yum install XnView.

I haven't installed it yet on my Fedora19, but that is how I got them on Fedora17.
