Graechan, very nice , very clean and crisp. Is that a pattern fill hachure or a gradient fill?
Esper , you have taken it a step further.It looks like you have a shaped gradient inside the letter outline path to softly mask the hatch. I am only guessing of course. Nicely done.

I checked all the sets, but nothing solved.

the basic concept of your effect is very elegant so i had to try it

i kind of simplified it and then took it a step further
because the thing with the gradient, i think thats not the best tool for the job
i mean hatchings, are made of lines right ?
so i used a grid

the soft edges i get by using a layermask instead of cutting the pattern and then slightly blurring to blend it nicely
the fake 3D is just offsetting another grid


the second version is the same text treated with a bunch of G'MIC artistic filters
i think the result is really improved and it almost doesnt look like its computermade anymore

you can make that step even easier, plus more control by using the layerfx.py Gradient Overly

no manual fiddling with the blend tool
just typing in numbers and getting exactly the same effect every time

well, I used the WARNING PATTERN ;desaturate and colorize

the hardedge is even better
