I am now having trouble with video->frames modify->layer stack position->lower layer.
When I choose two layers to lower, say: 1,2 , very strangely GAP seems to select the first one and lower it, then the first one again an lower it. The only logical reason I find that this happens is because it recognizes no change in the layer stack position from the beginning, hence the second positioned layer remains as the second even though it is located at [1] stack position.
I tried 1,3 and worked perfectly as expected, which induces me to think that in the second call of that function(lower layer) the layer stack position isn't updated.
The list of layers to be processed is created before anything is done, then that list is processed. When 1,2 is specified, first Layer#1 is lowered -- and thus Layer#2 is now above it. Next Layer#2 is lowered, placing it back below Layer#1 (i.e., nothing is changed).
When you specify 1,3 then after Layer#1 is lowered, the stack order top-to-bottom will be #0, #2, #1, #3, #4 (note that Layer #3 has not changed position when #1 was lowered). After the second pass the order should be #0, #2, #1, #4, #3 (i.e., both layers were lowered).
