Thank You Chris , I really enjoyed doing this tut. I did it twice, the second time to see if I could get a bit more colour in the cookies and a bit more height and roundedness in the cookies. Not all that easy!

Cookie eaters and text burners!

Try to use G`MIC Sequences>3D extrusion.

That top one is just about the best I have seen yet. It looks so real with the burn't ashes around it. Wow.

So I had a play with the tutorial and the texture, tried to make the embers glow and give it a 3d look.

I just had to give this a go.

wbool63: those are the tastiest looking of all the cookies posted here, the extra experimenting obviously paid off. i really like the look of your burnt text too.

he4rty: hmm... i don't think that particular 3d text and this particular text effect really did eachother justice. too sharp edges for this effect to look really good. i liked the glow of the embers though.

Those would be awesome photo fonts.

Seamless cookie and volcanic ash patterns. Use them however you wish.
