No, they don't look like a bug to me. I thought at first they were little furry bears but now they just look like a cute design with nice texture. You did a good job on the chain bevel, makes them look more than just a circle. love the pearls too.

The bevel I used was one you suggested! I think it was the one used with the locket bevel - Filters, Decor..., then I just applied it twice.

the fleurions I've used in the medal
you can get them saved in a folder and use it later on a gold background
You can also use fleurions together and creating a beautiful composition
