The only time i ever pay for a font is if a client requires a certain one.

Of course then i get reimbursed by said client, so i actually get the font free anyways.

I trust ttf fonts work on macs. Is it the unzipping that's not working for you? It unzipped for me.

I got it tucked away in my gimp fonts folder. Tomorrow I will try it out...I'm thinking that if I want it bold for a specific project, I an always select just the font, grow the selection, and fill with the appropriate color.

Do you still have your WindowsXP computer, 2-ton? You can install gimp portable on a USB flash drive. You can bold the fonts in it.

No problem with it here. Windows 7 (64-bit)..... I just un-zipped it and put it in my Windows Font folder...

i tried again with this tutorial,but here at the end i addeddried mud pattern and then set the mode to overlay.....anyway i tried that this looks like cracked ice or something like that
