alc59: beautiful wood!!! and all nicely tied together: wooden frame, wood grain background, wooden text.

edit: wrote "script", meant "text". my guess was actually that this wasn't done by graechans script, but by the tutorial.

Thanks
The text bump-map and motion blur shadow is from this Hard stoney text effect found on gimpusers
I just used wood

alc59: ahaa, nice tutorial!

i had one of those "lab accidents" - i was playing with putting a pattern over the result of the script and instead i got some fun multicoloured neon . i added the glow, but the day-glo was there already!

here's what i was supposed to be doing:

Gotta love accidents

awesome, alc59 !
the only criticism i have is that the lighting is a bit extreme
both, the highlight on the frame and the shadow of the text, but other than that, it looks super duper cool

AnMal, your new speciality is now hijacking
you did some cool unexpected things with the effect

sallyanne: at least creative accidents . one day i'll accident up something absolutely stunning, i'm sure of it.
esper: this doesn't really qualify as hijacking - it's still the 3d wood script.

where's the wood ?

esper: wooden gift boxes. thank you !
