I've made a photo-composition with some photos taken last Easter. I'll appreciate your opinions to get a better result. What to do or not to do on this kind of compositions.

It is very beautiful in all those sepia values, what is it you want to change? I like it very much.

Issabella, a lovely composition. Technically well executed. But I am lost in the message. Is there a message or special event that you are trying to portray? I see a cross, I presume a martyr (perhaps Jesus) I see a lady (perhaps Lady Magdalene), I see hooded men or woman apparently pushing a funeral cart. I see some modern children.
Whilst it is a lovely scene, I find my mind wandering trying to understand the points of interest.
Having said that, I would be proud to have done that manipulation, it is technically very good!

Thank you so much wbool63, I love your opinion about it is technically good. My country is plenty of contrasts and most about religion. In last times, Easter was lived seriously even sorrowly. Now it's so different... almost a touristic show. When I took the photos I thought how it'd be seen this current event by a little girl's eyes, only that. That was my message with the composition.
You are right about your guess.

Issabella, I understand completely what you're trying to convey with your beautiful image. Love the sepia, the transition of seeing it with what is old with new. The only thing I would do is sort of bring the larger image of the little girl to the forefront where the other two little girls are. Another idea, but not necessary, would be to make the girl you've moved in color - does not have to be bright - sort of a transition.

On a side note, I love, love the "mantillas" (the lace headdresses that the ladies are wearing).

Thank you Dalia for your good ideas about the composition. I set the little girl in a bigger size because it was she, who was on her father's shoulders looking at the procession, the one that caught my attention. So she takes more relevance in the whole.

Just because you ask for suggestions, here are two from my side:
1-create a centre of focus on the looking girl and on the Eastern scene (see my -poor- experiment)
2-if possible, give to the looking girl some color (like Dalia said)

Issabella, I loved this image so much for many reasons. Please forgive me for entertaining myself with your beautiful work. This is my try using your second image of the colorization of the little girl.

Dalia, you did exactly what I was going to suggest, to put the girls in the foreground and the scenes in the background. However, I would not blur the other girls as I assume they are there with the other girl, just closer.

Dalia, I like your idea setting the little girl in colour and the transformation with the background. It's been great!
2-ton, your idea is very good, too. Thank you so much. So I've put the little girl together the other girls without any blur, in spite of they weren't. But as Dalia says, the contrast of past times with new times is reflected in the composition.

Issabella - your work is truly original and creative. Your first image and what you saw in it personally, was beautiful; something in it compelled you to ask. You would have come to it eventually. Your first was beautifully inspiring and your last one had all of us butting in I love both.

Issabella and Dalia, the image by Dalia and the little girl in the blue and white t-shirt is an excellent composition and emphasise the scene as a pageant observed by a bystander. However , the girl on the far right and the girl underneath the girl in the blue T-shirt should be in focus to establish distance and separation from the funeral procession. I love the touch of blue in the T-shirt. Dalia there is a little blue artifact in the girl's hair that should be masked out.

If I don't misunderstand to you, wbool63, it's better to give some blur the girls in front of the cart. In my first composition I used masks as the whole composition is made of three different ones. Now they are renders. Is it right now?
