Commenting on an old tutorial here, but I felt I had to say something since it actually produces the wrong result; provided the goal is to mimic reality, that is. The problem with it is, that there shouldn't be any white on one of the pieces. Try it in real life, and see for yourself.

You're very observant. I never thought of that, but you are absolutely right. The print only comes off either one half or the other.
