Gmic has a sequence option -- sequence/3d object -- which can do a spinning cube. Uses only 1 image though.

Is there a reason why you don't have it? It is very useful.

Nixnine, that works ever so much better than what I'm trying to do. The Map Object filter just chews up my attempts and takes over two hours to do it.

nixnine, I was able to find the 2D object and I made a box but I don't see any place in there to make it spin.. I tried the rotator script but that took it all apart.

I did this one with 30 frames, changed it to replace from keep, changed speed from 100 to 150. I find it a little jerky between frame #30 and frame #1.

I used GMIC. If you download and install it, we will help you with it, Practically everyone here uses it so you will get lots of help. For me it is a strictly experimental thingy, cuz I don't know too much about it yet.... It is a fun thing...

i don't know about Gmic nothing at all. but i would like to know does it freeze computer,is it large plugin......i'm asking this because my computer starts to freeze when i use gimp.

May be a little late, but this is how I was set up to make my example earlier.
