Ello all. Im trying to make something in inkscape and i am having issues. I am trying to make this

I have imported a jpg and embeded it. i use the trace feature, select colors, 38 scans and it does not look as ood as some of these awesome art pieces. such as above and

mine look all weird and stuff. how should i accomplish this task?

For starters I wouldn't use 38 scans with colors. Don't use colors or reduce the scans or both. Why exactly are you tracing the jpg? Are you sure bitmap tracing is the right tool to use?

You will never get results as good as the wallpaper link provided with any kind of automated bitmap trace. That image (and other high quality vectors ) are done by hand, using a photo as a reference to draw over.
